November is pretty
much the same as the October watchlist.
Good buys meeting the DFG stock screen are hard to find. AmTrust Financial Services (AFSI) comes out
on top and just posted an earnings miss yesterday sending the stock lower and
the yield higher.
The only other stock
in the top ten that is a good deal is Old Republic (ORI)(always makes me think
of Star Wars). Insurance is
insurance. You will have losses and
gains depending on your claims.
The remainder are worth watch and picking up on some good dips.
Update 11/15/17: AFSI did not raise there dividend due out in January. That makes it more than 4 quarters since their last raise in October of 2016. I am guessing they will now fall off of David Fish's spreadsheet of champs.
Happy dividend
hunting,
Dividend Family Guy
thanks for the list,
ReplyDeleteKeep going on.

Thanks Wim
DeleteNice picks mate. Finding value is really difficult. I got myself some of GE. MO is my all time favorite ... vice stock :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks dividendgeek. Yeah not much value out there. Just a few and I own them/keep adding to them.
DeleteCheers,
DFG
For those of us who are new to dividend investing... How do you separate or sort to find stocks that offer dividends? I've always just invested in mutual funds / index funds. Would be interested to start looking into dividend stuff after seeing your blog. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHI CreditCage. The best source of information is the list that David Fish compiles each month. Check out DripInvesting.org
